Lakeen House - a fictional meeting place for 20th century Irish cultural figures.
This is a reinterpretation of a family friend's house in the Irish countryside, where I was lucky enough to spend a few summers of my childhood. In this collage I wanted to represent an existing space while bringing a fictional story to it. Whilst the house is real, the scene that takes place there is a little less so. In this alternative reality, the house becomes a meeting place for great Irish personalities of the 20th century. Time is thus distorted, and characters from different eras (who might never have crossed paths) share the same space and a moment of conviviality.
